Previously on the pages of Dead-End Job Frances met a psychotic boy named Devin. Devin has been lying to Frances about his father. He has told her that his father is a great rich artist. And now he is in love with Frances but he is ruining her life and her relationship. 'Frances is on to your lies Devin so watch out.'

Devin has to wacth out because Frances has her little plan too. 'Remember Devin what you plan today, tomorrow today's plans will be yesterdays thoughts.'

On the pages of Dead-End Job I can't help to wonder if Frances can survive the graveyard shift? 'I ran blindly into the store, sliding in my greasy shoses, knocking cans onto the floor, ramming into shelves. I fumbled for the phone. I picked up the reciever. I could feel Devin right behind me. I dialed nine, one... His hands slammed the phone down.' "I hoped it wouldn't come to this," he said.

Frances works in during the night so it's called the graveyard shift. So maybe, just maybe one of these days Frances just might not survive that graveyard shift...
